Directory listings

Listings are compiled from public registers and official sources, each shown with its source and the date we retrieved it. A listing is not an endorsement, and an owner-claimed or registered status is not a check of the business's work. Information supplied by an owner is reviewed before it appears but remains the owner's responsibility.

Opportunities

Opportunity records summarise official documents (Cabinet decisions, Board of Investment schedules and similar) in our own words and link to them. They are editorial research, not offers or advice, and may change after the date we last checked them.

Accounts

• Give a working email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account. Accounts are for people aged 18 or over.
• You can delete your account at any time under Account › Settings.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

Claims and owner edits

Claim a listing only for a business you are authorised to represent, and give truthful evidence. False claims will be rejected and may be reported. Owner edits must be accurate, must not include other people's personal data without their permission, and must not be advertising copy for other businesses. We may edit or decline any proposed change.

Acceptable use

• No automated scraping that degrades the service, and no attempts to get around rate limits, plan limits or access controls.
• Contact details from public registers may be used only for legitimate business purposes and in line with the Personal Data Protection Act. No unsolicited bulk marketing.
• No use of the site to break any law of Sri Lanka.

Plans and payment

The free plan is free. Paid plans are not on sale yet. Before they are, these terms will set out their prices, billing period, renewal, cancellation and refunds, and you will see them before you pay.

Our liability

The site and its data are provided as they are, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from relying on the data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Sri Lankan law. [TO BE CONFIRMED IN LEGAL REVIEW.]

Changes and law
